What is the Good News?
God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son–Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus chose to be nailed to a cross to pay the price for the sins of the world–and yours too! If you are sorry for your sins and believe that Jesus died for you, then Jesus forgives you and you will live forever with Him in heaven. That is the Good News of Christianity!

Who is Jesus Christ?
On the third day, Jesus Christ rose from the tomb. For another forty days after His resurrection He lived and worked many more miracles–witnessed by hundreds of people–and then ascended into heaven. Jesus Christ is 100% human and 100% God. He defeated His own death. On the Last Day, He will raise all people from the dead. Those who believed in Him while they were still alive, will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven.
Why Holy Baptism?
Jesus Christ grows His Kingdom as people all over the world are baptized in the name of the triune God, that is, the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. Baptism combines God’s Word and promise with water. Baptism works forgiveness of sins, rescues from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who trust in Christ’s promises.
